Leah Pearlman's love of creating began with her first experiment; melting crayons in the back window of her parents car. But it wasn't until much later when she started working for artists that she was inspired to take her own passion and make it her life's work. In 2002 she opened Uplifting Arts cyber doors and hasn't looked back since. She is now happily creating handbags, accessories, and more at her studio in El Cerrito, CA.

Vanessa Brady, owner of Gerbera Designs, enjoys teaching kickboxing, chasing her dog and taking naps. She has absolutely no background in performing in front of the camera but loves to talk about the amazing indie businesses she runs across while spending entirely way too much time on the internet. Vanessa, her husband and Zefram (see Switch #001) will be relocating to Chicago, IL soon where they will lose their toes to frostbite and eat mounds of Indian food.
